Location

Set off Highway 49, DucknChill is located at the quieter end of Agonda Beach directly overlooking the Arabian Sea.

Agonda Beach is a small town in South Goa with a 3km pristine sandy beach and plenty of surrounding hills and palm trees. It is one of only four beaches designated as Olive Ridley turtle nesting sites and if you’re really lucky you can watch the eggs hatching around February-March time!

It is more tranquil than some of the surrounding coastal villages therefore well suited for those seeking some peace and quiet. If the solitude at Agonda gets too much, you won’t have far to go for entertainment as Palolem Beach is only 10 minutes further South and offers a weekly silent disco, live entertainment and Leopard Valley, South Goa’s largest outdoor night club.

Swimming, sunbathing, walking, eating and shopping (you’ll find many stalls selling clothes and accessories) are the main activities in Agonda. There are also many opportunities to enjoy yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic treatments including workshops and courses.

You can also rent a scooter or take a boat trip to explore Butterfly Beach or Cola Beach. Look out for the dolphins! Animal lovers will love visiting Animal Rescue Centre (ARC) between Palolem and Agonda, you can help feed them lunch or just give them some much needed cuddles!
